Currently, this initial batch of trainees in Edo North’s six local government areas includes 78 hunters and 502 other operators, for a total of 580 trainees.

He noted that, “The areas they will be trained in include protection of lives and property, handling of weapons, and intelligence collection; While the hunters will be trained to be rangers because they are familiar with the bushes and forests for bush combing, human rights and attitudinal change, as well as physical training, will be emphasized.

He said, “Edo North was chosen first because of the ongoing kidnappings and murders around the axis, Additionally, the area has to be fortified because it is close to the borders of Edo State and other states.

“Edo South isn’t being ignored. The assertions made by Johnson Osahen, aka Small Baba, are untrue. In the Edo State Security Network in Egor, he served as one of our sector commanders. However, numerous petitions were filed against him due to his mischievousness and use of his authority to frighten ordinary citizens, and he was given an indefinite suspension.”
