The Advent and Risks Involved In AI

Spread the love

With the world gradually becoming a global village, the quest for technology is on the rise and this has brought about more increase in the area of computer technology tools as every invention is getting upgraded with each passing day. With more updates in computer technology, computer technologists have brought about Artificial intelligence as an upgrade to computer technology.

Artificial intelligence is a branch of the computer science that focuses on creating smart machines that work and act exactly like humans. In other words, artificial intelligence is a thinking machine; a computer that can perform tasks like humans. Tasks like learning, speech recognition, planning and problem solving.

Since the invention of the digital computers in 1948 with the aim of carrying out every complex tasks, no program have been able to match human flexibility over wider domains, this marked the beginning of modern Artificial intelligence that was formally founded in 1956, in a conference at Dartmouth college in Hanover, New Hampshire.

The beginning of modern Artificial intelligence can also be traced to classical philosophers in their attempt to describe human thinking as a symbol system.
With the introduction of AI, it brings the idea of an error free world and will slowly reduce human effort.

Over time, many industries have involved the use of Artificial intelligence technology to develop the innovation of machine slaves to perform the different activities that eases humans and also enhances the work speed of doing work.

Al technology is mostly used by all and has become a part of everyone’s life, from small to big work, artificial intelligence is used to generate leads and remove the work pressure and makes all understand the motion of work automatically.

In no distant time, these ‘smart human machines’ may likely take over the human world.
