My attention has been drawn to a series of unwarranted attacks by very uninformed members of the public against the dogged and rugged National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, in the social media.There is no doubt that these attacks represent a concerted effort to cause disaffection in our great party after our emphatic victory in the last general election, especially the presidential poll. It is unfortunate that some disgruntled agents of darkness have hired social media experts in their desperate bid to bring Comrade Oshiomhole to disrepute about the time of inauguration of our President, Muhammadu Buhari.For the avoidance of doubt, the National chairman, Comrade Oshiomhole, remains focused on his duties and will not succumb to any form of blackmail in his sincere effort to assist other well-meaning Nigerians including our President, Muhammadu Buhari in moving this nation forward after the holocaust years of the PDP.I use this medium to admonish these enemies of democracy to desist from their antics. Comrade Oshiomhole remains firm and committed to ensuring the success of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term in office.
